We strive to provide an environment that combines refined elegance in a relaxed atmosphere. Our menu provides options ranging from small plates for a nibble during happy hour to thoughtful entrees that will satisfy the most discerning diner. We offer a wide assortment of cheeses from all over the world and homemade desserts to enjoy after your dinner or show.

Our full menu is available until close each night. During the summer, we serve until midnight seven days a week. Our food selections change regularly to capitalize on the seasonally-available products of the region. We keep our online menus updated with our current selections.

In addition to offering a weekly-changing selection of over twenty wines by the glass, Liquid Assets also offers over 250 wines by the bottle from all over the world, including half bottles and a private reserve selection which currently includes vintage Krug, Vieux Telegraph, Bond, and Shafer Hillside Select. Wines are available for retail sale, or enjoy them in-house for a $5 corkage fee. In addition to an extensive cocktail selection featuring fresh squeezed juices, housemade infusions and homemade bitters, we offer a revolving selection of specialty beers on tap. Our menu draws inspiration from French, Spanish, and Italian cuisine, and changes seasonally, using ingredients from local farms whenever possible. All of these components are thoughtfully brought together in an elegant, casual setting that features rotating art shows from local artists.  

Wine

Liquid Assets is the only wine bar in Ashland to offer 20+ wines by the glass, as well as over 250 wines by the bottle. With a focus on handcrafted wines from Oregon, California and France, to name a few. Liquid Assets offers boutique wines not easily found elsewhere, available for retail or to enjoy in house. Our staff happily assists in customer purchases, ensuring the perfect wine for your occasion.

Beer

We pride ourselves on having unique, interesting beers on tap with a constant rotation. We have featured such cult favorites as Pliny the Elder from Russian River Brewing, La Folie Sour Brown from New Belgian, 90 Minute Dogfish Head IPA, and many other sought-after craft brews. In addition, we have several selections available by the bottle.

Cocktails

We go to great lengths to create thoughtful, inspired cocktails at Liquid Assets. Each drink is lovingly made with fresh ingredients; hand squeezed, house made and deliciously balanced. We regularly fashion seasonal infusions, bitters, liqueurs, and syrups offering a tribute to the local bounty of Oregon.

Denise

OWNER & OENOLOGIST

Denise has an eye for detail that shows in all aspects of the restaurant. Having previously owned several successful businesses, as well as over twenty years in the restaurant industry, she brings a strong entrepeneureal vision to Liquid Assets. When she is not riding her horse or spending time with her daughter, you will find her at the restaurant coordinating with local artists for the next show, managing operations, or mixing up a cocktail behind the bar.

Jim

OWNER & CHEF

Jim's passion for fine cuisine is apparent from first glance at the menu. After completing his culinary degree at Scottsdale Culinary Institue in Arizona, Jim went on to explore the vast world of wine while working as an assistant buyer at Oakville Grocery in Palo Alto, California. Jim's vast knowledge of food and wine afford him the ability to create menu items that are specifically designed to be enjoyed with his current wine selections. An avid outdoorsman, Jim enjoys hunting for the bounties that the Northwest provides. Family life is equally important and nights off are spent with Denise and their daughter cooking a meal and having some quality time.

Lucie

BAR MANAGER & MIXOLOGIST

Lucie Blackinton is the Bar Manager and Mixologist at Liquid Assets. Lucie has been cultivating the art of cocktail creation utilizing local and seasonal produce for specialty infusions, liqueurs, syrups and bitters. Her genius for creating balanced beautiful cocktails is apparent from the first glance of the creation she places before you. Her inspiration comes from a passion for flavors with talents in all facets of the culinary industry.
